Job 19:25-27

25For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. (KJV)

Dale Ralph Davis
About Dale Ralph Davis: D. Ralph Davis, Ph.D. (1944-) was born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, the youngest of five sons in a Presbyterian manse. Graduated from Sterling College, Dubuque Seminary and Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, he earned his Ph.D. at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He pastored several small churches and taught at Belhaven College and Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) before accepting Aisquith's call in 1988. Dr. Davis is known around the world as an "Old Testament guy," and although his deep insight into the Old Testament is undeniable, many of his Aisquith sermons had a New Testament text. Infused with his irrepressible wit, the sermons are down-to-earth, timely and a real treasure. They are online here with his permission. In 1994 he felt called to return to RTS where he spent several years before assuming the pastorate at Woodland Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg, MS. After a brief retirement, in January, 2014 Dr. Davis accepted a position as Minister in Residence at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC.
