Wednesday (cont):

Wednesday night we joined Chuy for kids club.  We had 12 kids show up from the neighborhood, plus the 12 that Chuy and Amy are foster parents for, plus their own 4 kids, and the 13 of us…..it was a crowded backyard.  We had a great time running around playing tag, and the “couch game” (too hard to explain on the internet).  After all the fun and games, and after the snack (gotta have a snack with kids), we all sat down while Chuy led a Bible study with all the kids helping to read through the passage.

 

Thursday:

We finished up the week strong.  More painting around the house had some of the girls busy inside all morning, and everyone else was outside helping clean up and move cement to the third floor.  When the day was done we had everything prepped for the next group of people to finish the roof off with tile.  If we had brought a few more people with us I think we could have finished it all off (hint hint to everyone reading this).

 

Tomorrow brings a long awaited day off where we will go into the city of Guadalajara and see the sights and truely take in what city life here is like.  And by that I mean shopping.
