Each day consider all the ways
The Lord has blessed us all.
There is no time that He allows
His chosen ones to fall.

As long as we obey His Word
We will always be at peace
The blessings given by God’s Grace
Will surely never cease.

Consider how the Lord was with
Both the widow and the seer,
Elijah when the brook dried up
Told the widow not to fear.

The widow did not hesitate
When the plea to her was “make”
With a little oil and not much flour
For Elijah a little cake.

In trusting him even though there was
Not much food to go around
When the widow followed such a great command,
She and her son had found:

That as precious gold has to be refined,
When we learn to obey His will,
Our God will always direct and provide
And our needs He will fulfill.

When God deals with us a different way
Than what we wish Him to,
We must submit to His sovereign will
For He knows what’s best for you.

And when He tells us a place to go
That sounds so strange and bleak,
Rest assured that the Father has provided all
We’ll need when His guidance we seek.

Give God the First place in your life
Honor Him and choose His way,
The love Christ shows us through His grace
Will be sufficient every day.
